Õ exists in some other languages (Portuguese — but used differently there) but Estonian is the major language where it's a primary alphabet letter. Pronounced like a mid-back unrounded vowel — distinct from O.

- Pinky discipline — Ä, Ö, Ü, Õ are all on the right side
- Estonian rarely uses C, Q, W, X, Y, Z in native words — these slots get less practice

In Estonian: completely different vowel sound. Pronouncing one for the other is a spelling/pronunciation error.

Why doesn't Estonian use Å?
Estonian is Finno-Ugric (related to Finnish, not Swedish). Different letter inventory.
