How to Type in Swedish — Å, Ä, Ö Made Easy
Swedish has 3 letters not in English: Å Ä Ö. The Swedish keyboard (QWERTY-SE) has direct keys for all three on the right side. The same keyboard is used in Finland (despite Finnish being a completely different language family).
Swedish's 3 special letters
- Å å — different sound from regular A
- Ä ä — a with diaeresis
- Ö ö — o with diaeresis
